Kofi Annan: Things are in such turmoil in Lebanon

that the UN can't even assess the scope of the humanitarian crisis. Annan says now that at least 700,000 have been displaced and 100,000 have fled Lebanon for Syria.

CNN reports that Condi's statements about the war are "somewhat at odds" with UN Secretary-General Annan.

At least that's what Israel, Bush, Condi, and our congress are telling us.

prevent Lebanon being "strangled by Syria" is to destroy Lebanon's "fragile democracy" and let it be strangled by Israel.

See, it's logical. Just ask Condi.
