Clinton's challenger Jonathan Tasini attends peace protest at UN
"NEW YORK, NY: Jonathan Tasini, candidate for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate, will take part in a rally in front of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations today at 4 p.m. where peace and justice activists will call on the U.S. to actively support a Security Council resolution calling for an immediate and unconditional cease-fire in the hostilities now being waged in Lebanon, Israel and Gaza. The activists will urge the U.S. to call for negotiations now to resolve all disputes, including the release of prisoners on all sides, with the goal being a comprehensive just and lasting peace in the region based on the implementation of international law. Tasini will also be part of a delegation that will deliver a letter to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, urging the U.S. to intervene to end the bloodshed."

It's good to see him embrace the activist groups and call for peace (the opposite of what Ms. Clinton did).
