It's "appropriate" for Condi to go to the M.E. now?

She made a comment earlier in the week about going "when it is appropriate". Is this politspeak for "as soon as Israel inflicts the right amount of damage on Lebanon"?

Why would the US have no comment at first, then openly support Israel's actions, then wait so long to act?
