Callers to Washington Journal this am are po'd at * and his mess
and they are really giving it to the political reporters on the panel. One Republican called in and said that was really upset because * and the PARTY have screwed up everything they worked to get to in the last 25 years. Then Steve read an article about Wm. Buckley saying that * is no conservative and that he "will have no legacy."

2. Did you hear the caller talking about Rahm Emmanuel & Schumer's war
on the grassroots of the Democratic party? The Dems are getting their share of criticism too. Time the party wises up.

3. This is the first time I have watched were the callers seem more intune
then the so called experts. And for a change its coming from both sides.

5. Bush will have a legacy alright
it's just that his legacy will be the big stinkin' mess
he's made of our country .. and the world.

I can't even imagine the global sigh of relief
when the republicans are kicked out of power.

Soon. Soon.

7. I'm planning a party.
I can't even imagine the global sigh of relief
when the republicans are kicked out of power.

Assuming Bush actually leaves office on schedule, by no means a given, January 20, 2009 will be a day of worldwide celebration of a kind never seen before. It isn't too soon to reserve one of the better venues if you want to put on a major bash. I think we should declare a 3-day national holiday and party like it's 1999!

8. Bush IS the conservative agenda in full flower
and Buckley is running from him like Indiana Jones and the boulder. If the rest of us weren't suffering, I'd buy a huge bag of popcorn and watch the disaster unfold.

9. There was a Rep from Georgia just now who said that there is a
group of Republicans who have agreed to only back moderate Rs. Wonder how widespread that movement is and I didn't know that there was such a critter any more as a "moderate Republican."

12. In Alaska they have an official Party called "Moderate Republican Party"
They have six officially recognized parties on their ballots. Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, Green Independent, and Moderate Republican and the funny thing is they have had these parties for over a decade. In some ways Alaska may be a decade or so ahead of the rest of us...
