1. After a few days of saying nothing, the US authorized Israel to kill by

waiting a week to act diplomatically, then telling everyone that Rice will need another week when she gets there. So Israel gets over two weeks to kill and be killed with more destruction of a reconstructed country than anyone thought imaginable.

And we suspect that all of it is only a prelude to Syria and Iran.

While Mz Rice went shopping to get ready for her trip, she gave the impression that she was pained to have to go talk some more, especially because it would be acting - as if she was brokering peace, but not really. There is no rift between the US and Israel, no matter what Israel does to Palestinians and the Lebanese. Theirs is a partnership - their being PNAC and the Party in rule in Israel - (with the blessing of all of the UK - at least that's what it looks like from the silence coming from there and given the US-UK buddy system in rule and the common objectives shared in Iraq).
