Is Any Organization Calling People Into the Streets to Demand Filibuster?
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 01:46 AM by emlev
Every organization with an acronym emailed me today asking me to call my senators. One (without an acronym) asked me to write letters to the editor. But no one is calling people into the streets, as far as I know. Or asking us to do anything else.

Why aren't we doing civil disobedience, sitting in at senators' offices, blocking the streets, or at least having daily rallies to build momentum?

Does anyone see any bold leadership out there on the left? If so, I'd sure like to hear about it!

Here's my take on what we should be doing, written as an open letter to MoveOn.org:

2. What are your thoughts about what more to do? Let's brainstorm!
I truly believe there are millions upon millions of us who would take action if called upon to do so.
