You know every time they come up with that tired saw that Dems have no plan. Dems need to get back in their faces and ask them how they will fix the damage done to the nation, since they broke it. Make them own their incompetent policies and their greed. Bet not one Republican politician would have a comeback because answering would mean admitting they messed up badly.

1. open government
restore the role of unfiltered science
restore power given to big business back to the voters
less Hayek more Keynes.
policy to be a part of the global community, our neighbors have a lot of control now that so many own so much of our debt. We need them.
quit wasting time and energy on amending the constitution with bigotry and hatred
less religion, more objectivity
invest in clean energy research (invest, not expend, this will have huge returns like the Internet investment did)
invest in Stem Cell research (see cmoment above)
take an active role in fighting global warming, we have wasted too much time under a regime that works through exxon to debunk the science rather than addressing the problem.

This one all republicans will hate but.. We have to get the debt under control, it is at dangerous levels that put the very existance of America in danger. We may have to go as far as devaluing the dollar, reforming health care and raising taxes (removing Bushies handouts to the rich) to get it under control. The fight would be very difficult but the damage done by Bush is that severe.

I could go on for hours on this. Democrats have MANY solutions, republicans only create wealth for the elite while waiting for the Rapture. They all need to go.

2. What did they break? The economy's in great shape. They FIXED
the bankruptcy process, the school systems, Iraq, the armed forces. Everything is in great shape. Deficits don't matter. The Democrats don't matter. They're selling everything they can get their hands on to foreigners. Jobs are going to foreigners here and abroad. Factories are going abroad. Nothing to fix. Just a bunch of old people on SS which they'll fix soon enough.

3. *co has no intention of fixing anything...
... as long as they all get their pensions, live in their mansions and have their big assed SUVs... what the hell do they care...

They all either believe that life on this planet is finite, or in the rapture. If they believed anything else, maybe they would fix it.

IMHO, they don't care.

4. You are exactly right!
I've been saying this for years, too. Every time a Repub lobs that "What's YOUR plan to fix things" grenade into the Dem camp, it should get thrown right back at them: "What's YOUR plan for undoing the damage YOU'VE created?"

5. Thank you! You understand what I'm saying exactly!
It's not about explaining ourselves. If Rs are thinking they messed up, then exactly how do the propose to clean the poop they deposited out of our national nest. If their answers sound like the Dem platform sometimes, all the better.

6. Immediately cancel all those tax cuts that favored the richest
Put the Pentagon on a diet.

Get out of Iraq. Period.

Raise the minimum wage. A lot.

Set up commissions to follow the dirty money.

Jail anyone and everyone who had a part in the stolen elections of 2000, 2002, and 2004 under the RICO act.

Campaign finance reform, 100% public financing of campaigns. Do a constitutional amendment, if necessary, to define money as PROPERTY, not SPEECH.

Enforce the laws against bribery of government officials, against scumbag employers who hire illegal aliens, against employers who break labor laws and engage in union busting, against anyone who is acting against the law to harm US citizens.

Disband the NSA. The cold war is over. Time for them to get new jobs.

Make sure the CIA stays CIVILIAN.

That about covers the first couple of months.
