2. It's a thing of beauty
He's tying Bolten in knots over whether stem cell research on human embryos is murder. I'm shocked and awed!!

3. I keep saying
that stem-cell has got to be one our key issues. Everyone knows someone who could benefit from this research.

11. Stem cell research should be a key Democratic issue.
My local paper did an online poll concerning stem cell research and my city leans more toward being conservative. Of the people who responded, 73% were in favor of stem cell research and only 18% opposed it. Based on the number of Republicans/Democrats here, those numbers should have broken more in the 40s/40s range. This is one issue that Democrats could have a distinct advantage.

18. Probable Republican Candidates for Pres in 2008.....
Frist
Rudy
McCain

All favor Stem cell research. Could be great for us in this cycle though.

4. I got the impression
That Bolton was trying to keep away from the Rove speak but found that if he tried to replace it with sound logical arguments he had nothing to work with. Bolton started using more Rove speak toward the end.

Stem cells.

Bolten is gonna be licking his wounds for the next few months. That was a total ass-kicking.

7. He did a surprisingly good job with Bolten,
although Bolten still slimy squirmed away and wouldn't answer direct questions. Good job Russert.

9. Why's everyone so happy with Timmy?
it's a safe issue for him to become a real interviewer. But when it comes to war, Timmy's a bushwhore par excellance.

12. I got to watch this interview on C&L this morning. LOL...
Bolten's eyes were shooting death rays everytime Russert asked a new questions. He was doing some serious hating on Timmy from the start. Aliens must have abducted the real Russert and left an higher form of intelligence in his place.

13. Russert's Bosses allowed him to be a real
interviewer on this topic because most Americans are in favor of SC research grants.

14. Darn, I wish I'd seen it.
For the first time in a long time I abandoned the Sunday political shows in favor of getting some work done around the house. If anyone finds the interview on the web anywhere, let us know.

16. Go to C&L at the following link
and download it or view it on line. I usually download because I have dialup and it doesn't do so well with just viewing. It's about the 7th or 8th item down.

15. Its because embryonic stem cell research is a bipartisan issue
Tim may be in love with the republicans, but this is a religion/science debate.

These guys never really give a shit until it concerns them personally.
