We almost don't want to report this little anecdote, considering any press given to Ann Coulter is more or less like donating to the "real people for Satan" fund, — but we have to. Only because it combines Coulter's attempt at humor with her attempt at poisoning the New York Times. She's a funny one!

Here's the gist: Jacob Bernstein sent Coulter an email, asking her to weigh in on comments by a Times source, who noted her "jokes" (which we always thought were serious remarks) about the entire paper getting blown up and Bill Keller being executed by a firing squad were not very humurous in light of the recent "powdered letter" incident.

Ann happily responded, "ha, ha, ha, yeah, I sent that letter full of white powder! Funny, eh?"
