3. There's another post on Du about this. I would guess we will hear |
|
of his death very soon. His organs are beginning to fail, and that's the first sign of demise. I hope it is very soon, for his sake. From what I could tell about him, he would NEVER have wanted to be kept alive like this.

I don't think anyone would want to be kept alive like this. It does not matter what one thinks of Ariel Sharon.
I hope he passes away quietly and quickly for his sake and his families' sake.
The man has something called "dignity". This seems to have been overlooked during this process of keeping him alive.
I feel sad for this man. As for the politics surrounding Sharon, I don't think this is the time to discuss such things.

11. I'm afraid the care given Sharon has left little of his dignity |
|
already....
I may not have agreed with the man, may have vehemently disliked him at times, but his care leading to the overwhelming stroke, aftercare and long delayed death have been a travesty in terms of defending his personal dignity, imo.

5. I'm assuming this isn't true |
|
maybe it is true, or maybe he's been dead for months, or maybe he never got sick he just went away somewhere.
I don't know what their motive might be for making up a story about Sharon, but in the middle of this war I'm not going to believe any of it.

8. Perhaps the family decided this was the time to remove life support |
|
If that's the case, the timing can be an issue.

the day would come when I'd miss Ariel Sharon. He'd have done this better, IMO.
