1. They have to wave that nationalism flag every chance possible |
|
Whereas if you actually watched the race you can see country loyalites were NOT a factor in the race, Floyd or anyone else did not race that way. Floyd even rides for a European team, not the US Team Discovery.

2. Did they repeat what he said about Bush? |
|
Or are they politely ignoring that comment? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1710737Landis is an AMAZING athlete! His performance was fantastic, Fox's usual excess and agendas notwithstanding. I would have to give that to any winner of that incredible event.

7. It's Fox. They're dickweeds. |
|
Still, I'm happy for Landis and proud that an American won the tournament. I think it's great to see this country be competetive in international events. That's healthy for us.

11. Man, I'm in awe of anybody who wins it. |

I don't ride, but my spouse does. (endurance and commuting for years.) It's only because of him that I followed any of it, but-- wow!

Fox News are zealous morons. NOTHING new there.
And if you're not a fan of the Tour, fine. Most Americans paid little interest to it for years. But this reductionism-- ie "bicycle safety". Come on.

10. If they're so big into cycling, they should interview Landis. |
