There's no shortage of news of nations and cities being destroyed, either by war or natural disasters. What does it take to build civil societies? What should our government be doing to create a better world?

Our media roundtable features the Nation's Russia expert Stephen Cohen and LinkTV's director of Middle Eastern programming Jamal Dajani. Then Vietnam vet-turned-Buddhist monk Claude Anshin Thomas on an upcoming Los Angeles retreat to help heal post-war trauma. Plus Rev. Dr. James Forbes, Jr., on his new Air America show, "The Time Is Now."

I find the whole Civil Society discussion to be very interesting. I remember starting a mondo thread on it once way back in my rrmb days.

Anyway, it looks to be a good listen. I just started streaming it...
