Iran's Ahmadinejad tells Israel to pack up and go
http://www.iranmania.com/News/ArticleView/Default.asp?NewsCode=44549&NewsKind=Current%20Affairs

LONDON, July 24 (IranMania) - Hardline Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told arch-foe Israel to "pack up" and move somewhere outside the Middle East, Iran's State News Agency (IRNA) reported.

"I advise them to pack up and move out of the region before being caught in the fire they have started in Lebanon," said Ahmadinejad, who has repeatedly called for the Jewish state to be relocated elsewhere on the planet.

Iran refuses to recognise Israel and opposes any two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Ahmadinejad has in the past called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" or relocated as far away as Alaska, the report said.

1. Is Ahmadinejad on the neo-con payroll?
It seems like he is saying just what *, Rice, Israel, Wolfowitz, Rummy, AIPAC, Fox News,
and so on want him to say.

8. No, but he is their creation
http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2006/07/22/us_blunders_roil_the_mideast/

"Bush said you couldn't negotiate with bad guys. In Iraq, where Saddam turned out to be telling the truth about nuclear weapons and Bush turned out to be lying, diplomacy was forsaken for war. Syria, which gave the US genuine intelligence help after 9/11, was deemed a nation not worth diplomatic engagement. As former National Security Council official Flynt Leverett documented, an overture by the then-moderate Iranian government in 2002 was blown off by the United States."

...and that, plus the invasion of Iraq, gave us this batshit crazy asshole of an Iranian leader.

31. I've been thinking about that for weeks. He couldn't be more
perfect for the Neocons plans. But, how int he hell could the Iranian President be on the same side with them? He wouldn't want his country "Lebanonized", i.e. infrastructure destroyed. He couldn't be bribed by the NeoCons. That makes no sense. He could just be crazy. Or, he might have some hard evidence on Bush that he would reveal in the event of an imminent attack. (I doubt that is the case)

6. He's got as much right to say
what he wants as anyone else-the question is whether or not you listen. Come on, it's not near as outrageous as some of the statements issued by "Our Glorious Leader" and his minions.

16. He wants to entire country of Israel to "pack up" and move
Edited on Sun Jul-23-06 08:46 PM by Poppyseedman
somewhere outside the Middle East, I realize bush and his minions have said some pretty outrageous things, but this idea is pretty far out there.

He may have a right to say whatever he wants, but he also is the President of a country, which reflects on his country stability.

when Israel was established, so it's not as crazy as all that.

1,000,000 Jews living in Arab countries were kicked out of their homes in Yemen, Iraq, and Morocco, and other Arab countries, had to pack up and move when Israel was established, so it's not as crazy as all that.

It's widely known that Jews were forced to leave Arabic countries after the establishment of Israel, and largely had to leave all property and assets behind. There's massive documentation for this but i simply grabbed the wiki entry.

"The Jewish exodus from Arab lands refers to the 20th century emigration of Jews, primarily of Sephardi and Mizrahi background, from majority Arab lands. Typically, this emigration followed documentable discrimination, harassment, persecution, and financial confiscation on the part of the majority population and/or government agencies."

22. Well, yeah, you're right. He may be a flaming lunatic, but bushyboy and
them are FAR more lunatic, and more flamingly so, than he could ever dream of being.

He, after all, is only a one-dimensional, one-subject flaming lunatic. On the other hand, bushyboy and them are flaming lunatics on a WHOLE RANGE of subjects, both domestic and international.

Aren't they?

Thanks for mentioning that. Seriously.

But then this is the guy bushie wanted in office -- bush's disapproval of this guy sure was helpful to his election.
