Child molesters were often molested as children themselves

MOST people who were molested NEVER EVER harm a child and go out of their way to protect children, BUT

statistics DO show that "some" molested children grow up to do horriffic things as adults

It would not surprise me one bit if the seeds for future wars are planted into the psyches of childrfen who have bombs rained down on them and see family members die right in front of their eyes..

While they are young, they can only watch, but the rage inside them is carried into the future, and it may be just part of a vicious cycle . We sure seem to have strife in the same areas over and over and over and over.

If alcohol abuse trends in families, and abuse does, why not warlike tendencies?

The sons of the Spanish American War soldiers fought WWI, their sons fought WWII and Korea, their sons fought in Viet Nam, their sons and daughters fought in Gulf War 1 and Operation-Iraqi-Liberation (aka Iraq war) and Afghanistan..

In some parts of the world the fighting all just blurs together because it never stops and even the children are pressed into war duty..

What if wars could be held at bay , and true diplomacy put to work...for 1 or 2 generations...would we all be so eager to keep fighting?
