FlipFlopper Bush on Gas Prices and OPEC Spread the news...
BUSH PROMISES TO FORCE OPEC TO LOWER PRICES... "What I think the president ought to do is he ought to get on the phone with the OPEC cartel and say we expect you to open your spigots...And the president of the United States must jawbone OPEC members to lower the price."

...BUSH REFUSES TO LOBBY OPEC LEADERS With gas prices soaring in the United States at the beginning of 2004, the Miami Herald reported the president refused to "personally lobby oil cartel leaders to change their minds."

1. On a recent visit to Orlando, he was asked about gas prices.
His response was, "What do you want me to do? Wave a magic wand?"

He just doesn't give a shit.

3. Here is a link:
"I wish I could simply wave a magic wand and lower gas prices tomorrow. I'd do that," the president said Wednesday in a speech to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. "Unfortunately higher gas prices are a problem that had been years in the making."

8. I am not sure if it made print. A local columnist who was there spoke of
it on a liberal-leaning radio show. I tried to find it, but couldn't.

7. People seem to have this idea
that b*sh gives a fuck about what is going on in OUR world. He doesn't! He is going to go away into that good nite in 2009 and will live out the rest of his life, protected by our tax dollars and living the high life on the profits gained during his illegal tenure. And if you think he cares one whit about helping the republican party, forget it. All he cares about is himself.
