What is Bush trying to hide regarding global warming? |
|
Or who is he trying to protect?
I know Al Gore made an issue that the Bush Administration is moving to end research on the subject, but the Bush Administration rarely does anything unless it benefits a crony, or hides their own indiscretions.
Here's a list of possible suspects I've compiled:
(1) Is he hiding information that will show that off-shore oil rigs are not economically or environmentally sustainable because of the increase in the severity of the storms?
(2) Is he helping out rich friends on the east coast to give them time to unload their over-priced homes before it becomes clear to everyone that certain areas along the east coast will be uninhabitable in twenty years?
(3) Is he just trying to take away from Al Gore who helped out and/or supported the research regarding global warming?
(4) Is he trying to make sure that certain satellites don't continually pass over certain areas along the coastal rims of the US, and if so, why not?
Anyway, I'm wondering if I'm missing something here regarding the global warming comment made by President-denied Al Gore?

Hear that? Right over my head. Not computing. Too much already with prisoner torture camps in Europe and warrantless spying on Americans. Just not ready to digest another revelation that was just yesterday, science fiction.

First off, they don't even believe it exists. Second, they believe that if it does exist, we shouldn't do anything about it. The reasons for this are varied and range from ignorance to cronyism.
LOL @ the dude down-thread who mentioned HAARP, though. That's a new one.

6. I hope that Bush's reasons are as simplistic as you point out. |

7. Someone here said these whackos want to make it easier to bust thru the... |
|
permafrost for the goods.
Sounds right to me.
These whaackos have an agenda, and that agenda is milking the Earth for all its worth. Nothing will get in their way.

8. I do know someone is making a bundle on property that was once |
|
snowbound.
I don't know if they brought on global warming with that intention in mind, but I do know that there are some people who would find a way to make money in even the most heinous situations.
