White House WON'T release details of Abramhoff visits--I wonder why?
http://www.thekansascitychannel.com/news/6192996/detail.html

WASHINGTON -- The White House is refusing to reveal details of lobbyist Jack Abramoff's visits with President George W. Bush's staff.

According to Press Secretary Scott McClellan, Abramoff had "a few" such meetings. But the spokesman won't say when or with whom. Nor will he say which interests Abramoff was representing -- or how he got access to the White House.

Abramoff was also a top fundraiser for Bush's re-election campaign -- and attended two holiday receptions at the White House.

Earlier McClellan promised a "thorough" report on the lobbyist's meetings with White House staff. But now he says he won't go beyond previous comments.

9. Anyone Look Into Jack's New York Adventure 2004???
That's been on my mind for a while. Surely, Jack was the toast of the big apple during the RNC in '04 and this was a time to "see and be seen". IIRC, booosh hosted several "Ranger" and "Pioneer" parties...where the "press" was kept out, but I'm sure others had to have been there.

Also...another name to keep an eye on as this develops...Gail Norton...the bag lady.

10. But they can spy on everybody else
WTF makes them so special. Where's the transparancy they claim to love so much? Are they above the law? Can they make up the rules as they go along. Could Clinton have gotten away with 1/100 of the sleazy shit * is pulling? Where's the accoutability?

11. Because they are So innocent...
that if they were to allow people to scour through their innocent-ness, it would open the floodgates to investigating innocent people, the world over.
