1. Isn't Bernie the guy who Shrub nominated for something and he
had to withdraw because of something he did wrong?

8. The evil grin makes me think so, but it's so plausible with Republicans
isn't it? They've run people like David Duke, Duke Cunningham, Tom DeLay, Oliver North. There are few criminals they wouldn't consider. Compared to some, Kerik seems almost nice.

10. sad to say, you're right, jobycom -- it is plausible with the GOP to run
terrible candidates.

I didn't figure that in when I posted this joke post.

I was trying to highlight the desperation of Republicans in this year's elections.

And the devil-grin icon wasn't enough to sell the joke.

12. Wasn't your fault
You could post the Brazillian joke and half the response would be "Wow, he really didn't know? And how come the MSM isn't talking about these soldiers?"

15. It's the Republican Syndicate today.
Organized crime runs the national party infrastructure. You got your drug running, war profiteering, privitizing-for-profit, and legislation-for-sale all under one roof. People with integrity not welcome.

7. Bernie Kerik lives in Franklin Lakes, Bergen County, New Jersey
in a McMansion. I think there are residency rules about running for senator.

9. My condolences to the citizens of Bergen County, NJ.
They deserve a better neighbor than Bernie Kerik.

14. Kerik is an asshole
The idiot helped Saudis expel westerners for violating Saudi's version of "blue" laws.

<snip>
In his 2001 memoir "The Lost Son," Kerik described his discomfort at investigating employees' private lives but said it was necessary because of Saudi laws prohibiting drinking and mingling of the sexes in public.
