How am I supposed to make sense of this?
Edited on Mon Jul-24-06 11:14 AM by TwoSparkles
The United States was one of the last countries to get their citizens out of Lebanon. Italy, England, France and other countries were busy shuttling their citizens out of danger--as our citizens sat. Waiting.

Then Condi says that she will not request a cease fire---even though United States citizens are still in Lebanon--with rockets and bombs flying everywhere. She could have demanded a cease fire and she didn't--and she put our citizens in danger. Isn't she supposed to serve the people of the United States?

I don't get it. I don't understand.

Is Israel more important than innocent United States civilians and the other people in Lebanon who are defenseless, completely reliant on others for their safety and totally innocent of any wrongdoing?

Why didn't she protect the interests of the United States and request a cease fire, until the US and other countries can get innocent civilians to safety?

I can't wrap my brain around this.

1. The only thing I can think of is that Condi/Bush want war with Syria/Iran.

2. I believe the reason why you can't wrap your brain around it, and
rightly so, is because it is untenable to think she does NOT give a crap about the American "unwashed" yet it is a fact. One has only to look at the last 5 years of the bush cabal to see the proof.

4. 1 + 2 + 3 = Attack Iran & or Syria
1 - The bu$h regime does not care about US citizens safety, home or abroad.
2 - If the US called for cease fire they violence could not be escalated to the level the regime needs for more wars
3 - To the neocons and PNAC - YES Israel is more important that the US

which would also explain spy's giving our secrets to Israel and Judith Miller's pushing the war......maybe it all does boil down to Israel?
