Bush open mic comment shows his command of geography
I hadn't heard this part of the open mic conversation at the G8 conference, but Bush shows an impressive fourth grade grasp of geography. He notes that China and Russia are big to the president of China, and is so impressed with himself that he repeats it to an aide.

Clinton could have talked about tariffs during the Ming dynasty while getting a blowjob under the table.

The camera is focused elsewhere and it is not clear whom Bush is talking to, but possibly Chinese President Hu Jintao, a guest at the summit.

Bush : Gotta go home. Got something to do tonight. Go to the airport, get on the airplane and go home. How about you? Where are you going? Home?

Bush : This is your neighborhood. It doesn't take you long to get home. How long does it take you to get home?

Reply is inaudible.

Bush : "Eight hours? Me too. Russia's a big country and you're a big country."

At this point, the president seems to bring someone else into the conversation.

Bush : It takes him eight hours to fly home.

He turns his attention to a server.

Bush : No, Diet Coke, Diet Coke.

He turns back to whomever he was talking with.

Bush : It takes him eight hours to fly home. Eight hours. Russia's big and so is China.

4. "This is your neighborhood"
"It doesn't take you long to get home."

St Petersburg is about as close to Beijing as it is to DC. 6 years of on the job training and he still doesn't know where he is. I suppose anywhere outside the Yew-nine-ah States is "your neighborhood" for a furriner.

10. I think he flies the Ambien express
A little trick they learned from Colin Powell.

"Yes. Well, I wouldn't call them that," Powell said. "They're a wonderful medication — not medication. How would you call it? They're called Ambien, which is very good. You don't use Ambien? Everybody here uses Ambien."

Jr. puts on his jammies and pops the magic pill, then the crew tucks him in and forgets him until landing time.

13. Well, I fly the xanax and wine express on long flights.
I'm ADD and an insomniac. Combining the siting still in a confined, boring space with an inability to sleep and it just sucks. Of course, I'd still probably make a much better president than Bush.

And just what the fuck did he do right after he came back? What was so important?

Saving blastocysts from terrorist scientists?

He speaks like 16-year old high school dropout punk. :puke:

15. That's just bush's version of "witty banter".
Party talk, making conversation. No surprise that he fails miserably at that as well as everything else. If he's not talking about clearing brush at his Texas pig farm he's completely out of ideas and says the first thing that pops into his pea-sized brain. He's a crude, ignorant, lazy, boorish, petulant child. And he WON'T go away. That's the worst part of it all. :puke:

21. the cleatuses or the old money people?
the old money people probably like it just fine--shows he'll never get any wild ideas of his own, and if he does, they'll see them a mile down the road and think circles around them.

The cleatuses would think, 'Russia and China ur big? He musta just being nice cuz everone knowed the United States is the biggest country what ever was.'

29. I can go one better with something I heard in a restraunt
Girlfriend and I were waiting to be seated in our favorite local Mexican restraunt. They have a very large map of Mexic on the wall, with Mexic (naturally) taking up most of the map space.

We heard one guy comment, in genuine shock and with wonder in his voice, "Wow, Mexico is big".

I had to leave the room in order not to get my ass kicked, because I had to laugh out lound and uncontrollably at the sheer stupidity of that statement.
