The Bush administration is rushing a delivery of precision-guided bombs to Israel, which requested the expedited shipment last week after beginning its air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, American officials said Friday.
The decision to quickly ship the weapons to Israel was made with relatively little debate within the Bush administration, the officials said. Its disclosure threatens to anger Arab governments and others because of the appearance that the United States is actively aiding the Israeli bombing campaign in a way that could be compared to Iran’s efforts to arm and resupply Hezbollah.

The munitions that the United States is sending to Israel are part of a multimillion-dollar arms sale package approved last year that Israel is able to draw on as needed, the officials said. But Israel’s request for expedited delivery of the satellite and laser-guided bombs was described as unusual by some military officers, and as an indication that Israel still had a long list of targets in Lebanon to strike.

so could not have been there by now in quantity. Also with the request about a week old, its not likely they are there even is sent by cargo plane (quite expensive and has significant safety issues). There is nothing to indicate that the BLU-113 or BLU-122) is being used in Lebanon at this time. The video looked to be standard GBUs. Also there are no ball bearing in them either. Note that Israel makes some of its own deep penetrator ordinance in the BLU-109 class.

I hope those who did get out have alot to say about our sickening government. the media is not helping at all, this is just like when we invaded Iraq, the media was promoting war, and death. People are getting killed, this is so inhuman, people's lives are being destroyed. :grr:

- Under the circumstances, I would expect inflation of them to help inflame others by Hezbollah. This fight is not just with rockets.
- Considering the about of ordinance being used, they are suprisingly low.
- There is not way to tell Hezbollah bodies from innocents. They use both sexes and teenagers as well, making it even more difficult

The reconstruction will bring even more confusion to it. Those not found by their loved ones will be counted as dead, the dead without friends and family will not be accounted for.
