For my next President I want someone who is both smart and honest |
|
smart enough to not repeat the bad lessons of history and honest enough to tell me the truth about all things including the things I'm not sure I want to know. A person who is not afraid to tell us that we are up a shit creek without a paddle when we are and believe me we are at this point in time. A person who will make decisions based on what is good for the people of these United States.

6. It can happen - elect an OPEN GOVERNMENT candidate. |
|
Someone who believes in opening the books to the American people and respects them enough to give them MORE information they need to make their decisions, not less like BushInc prefers.

I'm thoroughly sick of the good ole boy act, I want someone who is head and shoulders above my level of intelligence, someone who speaks in paragraphs not monosylabic utterances.

8. Right now I'd settle for even one of the two |
|
cause I figure a honest moron or a smart liar would have to be better than a lying, alcoholic idiot

Jeb Bush to me. The corporate media says he is extremely popular and has all the attributes of a great president.
With a little help from his friends at Diebold, he should have no trouble following in Big Brother's footsteps.
And the corporate media, playing Teddy White, will explain to us in loving detail how his election showed the deep-rooted desire of the electorate to continue the royal family's reign.

15. I think the bush* name |
|
has lost it's luster forever, it'll be a cold day in hell before we willingly have another one of these cocksuckers in any kind of power. Of course that's assuming that lil georgie* doesn't declare himself dictator for life.

10. Al Gore is as close to that description as we have now |
|
But the press if they think he will run will tell us that he lost once so he is not a good choice for us now. Maybe we need a military man now because of the wars going on, like we did in 2004. Or a Hillery because she is a woman or a Zell Miller because he will appeal to the NAS car dads. How can we win without the NAScar dads?

11. Yeah. By the time we've had 8 years with someone who doesn't |

possess either of these attributes, we'll be ready for a person who does. Unfortunately, the next president will enter office with the biggest mess on his/her hands than any U.S. president has had to deal with to date.

And, he has the added benefit of also being handsome (which, unfortunately, is important in this television-driven country).

13. It is so unbelievable to me that Bush was voted in |
|
in the first place. But then my friend the other day ran into somebody at work who likes Bush because "That's the way he talks. He's a good 'ol Texas boy."
Disgusting!
Stupid is as stupid does.

17. Well, that eliminates 99% of all politicians. |
|
Especially the "honest" requirement. And, the remaining 1% are usually considered unelectable because of the qualities you demand.
