We arrest all the political "leaders" in Israel, Syria, the bush cabal, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the Hezbollah, Hamas and all the senior executives of every big oil company and weapons manufacturer and other war profiteers

and all their families

we immediately place them under house arrest scattered throughout all the target regions

then we fill those leadership positions with rational human beings and begin dismantling the engine of social injustice that capitalism and neocolonialism has wrought in the region

1. How about we just put them on house arrest within one house

And then napalm the house? Can we do that?

Actually, it wouldn't solve the problem anyway - there are a lot of people behind those leaders, a lot of whom are even worse than the leaders themselves. It'd take a lot more than just a little house keeping to solve the ME crisis.

2. most folks didn't like my original plan

the one in which the US makes shitloads of money providing huge numbers of short-range nukes to all the parties and countries in the region.

Then, when the glass cools in a few hundred years, republican developers can move in a create a huge casino/skateboard park.



of course, with this new plan, we might have to repeat the arrest cycle a few hundred times, but eventually the killing would stop.
