So is the "news" going to keep reporting on Israel/Lebanon..
24 hours a day, every day until Lebanon is 100% rubble and every Lebanese citizen is dead?

I ask because for two weeks we've seen no other news, and apparently we'll see no other news until this extended wargasm is over. Call me crazy but we have what, five 24/7 cable news channels? That's about 1,700 "news" hours so far, not including the networks and RW radio. You'd think they could find an hour or two to cover something else, like maybe a short segment about how Iraq and Afghanistan are going strait to hell.

Maybe I just haven't seen the in depth Iraq reporting, because I tend to flip by the news channels quickly in the morning and turn them off after seeing the news is exactly the same as it was yesterday. Just more American financed death.

1. this sick administration is promoting their sick agenda
on us, brainwashing all of us to get of us numb of death and killing and to say their agenda (PNAC) is all warmongering and killing innocent people for just war profiteering. Our credibility has never been so low. I hate this government of ours.

2. They do this for a reason.......
make us so numb we turn off the news and then they do anything they want to do so even if, the news programs reported different stories, who would be tuned in to watch?

9. exactly it is to promote their death and destruction
and to show that the American people just don't care anymore, does anyone see what is wrong with this?? Will this make us even wish those mid term elections were tomorrow, we have to get these jerks out more than ever in November. We have to do some serious house/senate cleaning. This government/regime is more concerned about the mid east policy than our problems here at home, from gas prices to you name it? we are definitely on the back burner, it is time we hit back hard, at the ballot box.

I just habitually tune in to CNN every morning as I'm brushing my teeth.

18. Thanks Alyce!
I agree with both of your responses! My husband and I were talking this morning about the Democratic Party......they're beginning to upset us a lot with their failure to get some talking points together. I think they're just about as out of touch as the repukes.

3. I'm fucking sick and tired of it!
When are they going to talk about something else besides Israel and the brave Israeli tank commanders and jet pilots and their precision munitions against the mighty Lebanese terrorists who disguise themselves as women and children?

Massive bombardment of large apartment buildings in southern Beirut.

When Lebanon is nothing but rubble, and the Lebanonese thoroughly hate Israel, will Israel be happy then?

...as have been killed on both sides of the Lebanon/Hezbollah/Israeli conflict during the same time frame.

The death toll is just incredible. From July 21 -

"This week, the United Nations put a figure on the staggering human cost borne by Iraqis. Anyone who believes the situation is improving should take a moment to consider the tally of deaths, each month higher than the previous one, each day more grim than the last.

The United Nations said more than 100 civilians on average were killed daily in June, a number far larger than earlier unofficial estimates. The actual death toll for the month was 3,149, up from 2,669 in May. In total, 14,338 Iraqi civilians have died violently in the first half of the year, according to the United Nations. The majority of the deaths were reported around Baghdad."

thought the GE/MSNBC military employee expert talking about bunker busters was showing his pride in the weapons.

Last night they filled in the hour before Countdown with a repeat of another of their prison gems - a guy with three counts against him, but with no death has been given a life sentence.

Our PNAC and their backer-barons, stockholders, and supporters are above the law. They reign the world. Their weapons and their agenda is our legacy?

This is it folks - they are taking us over - or not? Where are the voices? We don't even complain about gas prices. Not even the truckdrivers. Such devotion to our President.
