Saudi King: If peace fails because of Israeli arrogance-there will be war

"If the peace option fails because of Israeli arrogance, there will be no other option but war"

The king has coupled his aid promises with unusually forthright comments about the crisis.

"Saudi Arabia warns everybody that if the peace option fails because of Israeli arrogance, there will be no other option but war," he was quoted as saying by state media.

Saudi Arabia has called for a ceasefire but has also blamed Hezbollah for starting the fighting.

3. The Neocons and Rapturians must be drooling
in fervent glee over their man-made-end-o-times.

I am so disgusted with this.

4. My how everybody forgets their history
It was because of the US support of Israel that we had the original embargo back in the early seventies. You know, back when we imported less than fifty percent of our oil. Now that we import over sixty percent of our oil, think how much more that embargo would hurt.

No oil from the Arab states. Chavez is already talking about no oil from Venezuala. Putin is hanging onto Russia's oil. What's left? Zimbabwe? Mexico?

We would be in such a world of hurt. Of course Bushco doesn't care. After all, they're personal homes are all fitted out with the latest state of the art wind and solar power.

5. You got it right
I saw gas lines, prices going through the roof, etc. etc. Wonder if Bush's base will still praise him when we have to wait in line for $6 a gallon gasoline? Glad I'm living in a house that is geothermally heated/cooled and my electricity comes from a hydro plant.
