Why is that huge American flag on top of Wal Mart? |
I really had not noticed it before, is it because they are supporting the troops?

5. Because Walmart's management is a collection of right-wing, |
jingoistic, conservative nuts who feel they must wave the flag to show their patriotism (while they mistreat and underpay their workforce). Sometimes I get so sick of the flag and the super-nationalism that often goes with flag-waving.

10. There should be only ONE flag |
The WORLD flag....I also find flagwaving and nationalism one of the big reasons we have so many problems in the world.

8. you know, just for fun i went to wallmart a few weeks ago |
and started picking up random objects to see where they are made. Everything was made in China, except the glass beads in the crafts dept, they were made in the usa. Its ironic, we gave the Native Americans glass beads for land, now china-mart lets us keep their manufacture...

It's just like the car dealers and their oversize flags. I wouldn't read anything into it. Might as well ask why there's a flag outside of most libraries.
