I don't condone this, because Truman wasn't a bad man, even if some of his decisions can be very controversial.

But that shows where anti-americanism can lead to. Many Greek still remember the torture fascist junta of "the Colonels" in the 70ies, backed up by the US 7th fleet, all in the name of fighting communism.
