Video: Tweety Says Lack of Iraq War Debate Media's Fault

Good interview on hardball - tweety admits media failures in having a real pre-war debate. Rep. Janice Schakowski does a great job in her first appearance on hardball - Rep. McHenry looks like a fool. Only partial video as I came in the middle of it - Ill post the whole thing when I recor the rerun.

1. It seems like the (TV) media is mostly a bunch of blow-dried pretty faces,

much more "show biz" types without real news chops these days, where appearance and show biz presentation are the thing and the idea of actually asking tough questions and investigating things is not present.

That has a lot to do with the lack of real debate over important issues, and the willingness to accept the shrubco/Roveco "framing" of events.
