Reid/Dubrin/Schumer Press Conference re: Maliki apology

SEN. REID: According to recent press accounts, the Iraq prime minister has denounced Israel's actions in Lebanon but not the actions of Hezbollah. He's reported to have said -- I quote -- "I condemn these aggressions and call on the world to take quick stands to stop the Israeli aggression," end of quote.

I of course note that he made no mention of Israel's right to defend itself, no mention -- Hezbollah's terrorist attacks, and no mention of the fact that Hezbollah started this conflict by shelling innocent Israeli citizens and killing and capturing Israeli soldiers.
