that this country will not elect a jew and with all the anti-semitism i'm finding here on DU and out in the public, i think i was right. i have also said that i felt Leiberman hurt gore. even though gore really won, i feel he would have won with a bigger margin if he had someone else as a running mate.

in I/P. I didn't know he was Jewish; never thought of it , to tell you the truth. I guess when I listen to people that's all I do. I don't sit there and think... I wonder if he's a presbyterian or I wonder about his nationality.

I think there was at least one thread somewhere here in the last few days where people were dissing him because he came out for Israel's self defense. Before that, I thought he was one of the darlings of these boards.
