Convicted lobbyist had meetings at White House
By David Jackson
USA TODAY

WASHINGTON — The Bush administration said Tuesday that convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff had a “few staff-level meetings” at the White House but refused to disclose who met with Abramoff or what they talked about.

“We don't get into discussing staff-level meetings,” White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

Abramoff also attended two Hanukkah receptions, he said.

Staff members spent weeks scouring White House records for traces of Abramoff, the center of a federal ethics investigation that has roiled Washington. Abramoff pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to fraud and conspiracy charges and agreed to help prosecutors investigating alleged corruption on Capitol Hill and in the Bush administration.

“I can't say with absolute certainty that that is everything,” McClellan added. “But that's what I looked into, and that's what we were able to learn.”

This might be all, but maybe not, there could be more, don't hold me to it, if you find something else I'll change my story but I'd REALLY like for you to just stop and BELIEVE me, ok?

3. Digging, digging, digging. First it was only two Hanuka parties and
now it is a few staff level meetings. Are there no picutres of the chiefs with bush and abramoff? There are always those pictures somewhere.

they don't want to talk about all the shit that went down in Crawford and elsewhere. Sorry Scott, I see right through you.

6. Bingo. They've deliberately avoided disclosing Abramoff's access ...

... to Bush/Cheney and other senior adminstration officials in other venues, including Crawford. That Abramoff was on the 'Bush Transition Team' in 2001, with particular access to and involvement in the Interior Department, speaks VOLUMES to how much in the king-sized bed he was with the Fascist Pukes.
