Great time for random acts of kindness and supporting a great forum at the same time?

(Discalimer: I did NOT get that $0.35 check from Skinner for this message)

5. well I'm not one of those ...
wonders but I'm starless and may remain so until the September 11th forum is in full view to all new members and visitors.
I enjoy this site very much and intend to donate at some point very soon and regularly. But I believe that topic is very important!
And I hope I don't get banned for this post.

8. I can barely afford to survive from month to month right now, but
when I graduate from being a starving student to a working class stiff, I'll be donating. It's already on my list of things I want to do with the hard earned cash I receive when I get a job.

For the record, I can only afford to be online, because I need it for school. It's a priorities issue for me, unfortunately. I wish I could donate. Like I said, when I get to the point that there is any money left over at the end of the month (or week when I get a job), DU is getting a donation, Womenfolk (now New Horizons) is getting a donation, The Southern Poverty Law Center is getting a donation, and my local Humane Society is getting a donation.

Until then, I can only look up to the stars in awe and respect.

Not that that covers everyone, but some people who should have stars have lost theirs, so there might be something up with that. That said, everyone who can should re-up their stars!

11. Shine on you crazy diamond!
There is so much good music about stars, of all genres.
One of the best:
"Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright..."

I Only Have Eyes For You
Al Dubin / Harry Warren

My love must be a kind of blind love,
I can't see anyone but you
And dear, I wonder if you find love,
an optical illusion, too?
Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright cause I only
have eyes for you.
The moon may be high,
but I can't see a thing in the sky,
cause I only have eyes for you.
I don't know if we're in a garden,
or on a crowded avenue.
You are here, so am I.
Maybe millions of people go by but they all disappear from view,
and I only have eyes for you.

21. I am an old damsel on fixed obligations
and responsibilities I'll spare you the details thereof. If anyone might be willing to give me a star, I'd be gratefull to accept it, humbly I might add. Might help Skinner from having to PM me every time there is a drive. I'm sure he'd be grateful also. I promise if I win the Publishers Clearing House big one I'll make up for the years I have managed to duck a contribution.

22. Had one years ago.
Some of us give money and don't care about a star. If I want to do polls again or search, I will give again and make sure they know it is me.

I like this post!

I like labs, too, I have one - I also have a lab mixed w/golden retriever.

Random acts of kindness and dogs deserve a K & R!
