They're also known as "anarchists" or "anarcho-socialists" or "liberal socialists" as opposed to the more authoritarian kinds of socialists. More mild forms refer to themselves simply as "left libertarians."

I'm one of them, but I'll admit I'm more pragmatic than some of the more hardcore anarchists I've run across in the past.

A good example of an anarchist is Noam Chomsky, the man who is in my avatar. This star in my signature is indicative of the anti-authoritarian undercurrent present among the left.

If Leninists, Trotskyists, Maoists, Stalinists, and reformist state socialists represent authoritarian socialism or "involuntary socialism," then libertarian socialists represent the exact opposite or "voluntary socialism." I'll admit I'm a shade of that.

The idea is interesting and I'm sure would attract a crowd. My only concern is personal slander which is unacceptable anywhere. I don't mean "You a total idiot for supporting such and such" I mean, "you're a crook staling money from the poor." That's got to be off limits period. So maybe the idea would be no holds barred but attacks on the persons personal behavior are out; as opposed to attacks on the person for holding certain views.
