NO cease fire. Ms. Rice Succeeded.
America will not call for a ceasefire, yet we talk about humanitarian aid?
Seems like quite a hollow guesture IMO. America is a nation of war. Nothing else.

3. Not til we send Israel all their bombs anyway
I think they need some smarter bombs while we are at it. They appear to be using really dumb ones at the moment..

4. True. Israel said it would take up to a few more weeks and lookie
if we didn't give it to them.

Lots of people were saying that Israel didn't need the US to give them permission to do shit.

But with the whole world crying foul the US does have room to play guard.

What is everyone thinking now? Isn't it obvious that the US is giving Israel room to play?

Isn't it obvious a cease fire to stop the killing then workin on the diplomatic solution is the best bet.
Why continue to kill when you can stop the killing and work on a diplomatic solution.

That is like the police refusing to stop a bar fight until one of the people admits they are wrong first. IF they both think they are right enough to start the fight they will fight till each one dies. Does that make sense. Shouldn't the cops stop the fight first?

6. It's so obvious it is sickening to me.
If this mal-administration thinks IT can solve the Mid East situation they are truly mistaken.

Bullies know only one solution. Kick ass. A very juvenile solution to everything.

5. This country's diplomacy is an absolute disgrace...
and so is 99% of our elected government for not calling for and securing a ceasefire. I am disgusted with the effing lot of them, each and every one.

Disgusted.

7. Of course there's going to be no cease fire
This entire operation is being staged really for one reason, to get Syria and Iran to jump into the fray, thus providing an excuse for Bushco to jump into the fray and fulfill all of their PNAC dreams of ME hegemony.

Putting a cease fire into effect now would deny Bushco their excuse to invade Syria and Iran, therefore they're going to do everything in their power to prevent one.

Sad, the PNAC folks warned us what they were wanting to do, yet few people knew of their plans, and fewer yet believed them. Yet here we are, seeing these very same plans unfolding before our eyes. The comparison to Mein Kampf is undeniable, and downright scary.
