Watching Congress you'd think Bush* was giving State of Union address
They are giving Malaki standing ovation after standing ovation. I can't even watch.

5. He got in a couple of uncomfortable truths
that left some of them unsure whether to applaud or not. He noted that the reconstruction money had gone almost entirely to security and foreign contractors (*cough* Halliburton). And he made a surprising "never again" declaration after he recounted that Iraqis were encouraged to rise up against Saddam in 1991 and left hanging, a not-so-subtle jab at Papa Bush.
