Saddam is soon to be executed?
Wouldn't it be be beneficial to have a great diversion? Wonder what could be done to draw the attention away from such an event? Saddam has requested that they "just shoot me". He doesn't wish to be hung like a common criminal. But you can bet your last dollar that George Bush will be even more happier than when he executed the Christian gal that was begging for her life. He will not be able to conceal his glee. We will then withdraw most of our troops from Iraq once Saddam is executed. That is what is important to the psychopath we have in the White House. Another victory for Dubya!

That sham of a kangaroo court should have been disbanded months ago. String him up and be done with it.

6. Or an attack on Syria or Iran...
Should be an adequate distraction from the hanging, don't you think? I hate it when I start thinking like Rove and Bush...

13. Traditional Bill Clinton month, too.
Actually, I think Bill executed that Arkansas prisoner earlier in the campaign, but he still made sure to have a notch on his belt to show the bloodthirsty mob.

9. Surely it will be televised!
The sheep will really go for it. Sell commercial slots for more than the Suuper Bowl! Advertisers can do special themed commercials, like they do for the Super Bowl. It'll be great. Fun for the whole family.

11. I'll bet you all hell will break loose in Iraq if they off Saddam.
If they think that will help anything in Iraq they really are stupid.

12. I predict it will be televised!
We would never televise a home-grown execution, but this is different. It will be televised and all democratic candidates will be quizzed incessantly on whether they support the execution and its televising. The election will be transformed into a contest to see who is more bloodthirsty.

Just like when Bill Clinton executed an Arkansas prisoner during the 1992 campaign to prove he had big swinging crimefighter cajones.

21. I'm guessing another 15 days to wrap up formalities, and 30
days after sentence, so in 45 days he will be hung with a big scratchy rope.

The scenes to come will surely be reminiscent of the picnics and parties prior to lynchings in this country in the last century. But, given the lack of conscience for our war-related atrocities, I know what we can expect...

Some days I wish I'd been born a dog....Humans can be so despiccable.
