Has Hizbollah struck any ambulances or UN facilities in either Israel or
Lebanon? I'm just asking because I heard someone say during an interview on CNN that this time around hospitals and ambulances have been targeted.

1. I don't think so. But, they can't target. So it may be a lucky PR thing
for them right now.

2. Hezbollah Claims That Their Rockets are Aimed at
military targets only. However, as Juan Cole points out, they are so inaccurate that it's a little disingenuous to say that. Hezbollah did threaten to hit a chemical factory and release chemicals into the general population, which would be a serious war crime.

Haven't heard anything about targeting the UN (which AFAIK is not in Israel) or ambulances.

3. Hezbollah actions as told by UN
This morning, Hezbollah opened small arms fire at a UNIFIL convoy
consisting of two armored personnel carriers (APC) on the road between
Kunin and Bint Jubayl. There was some damage to the APCs, but no
casualties, and the convoy was obliged to return to Kunin.

One unarmed UN military observer, a member of the Observer Group
Lebanon (OGL), was seriously wounded by small arms fire in the patrol base
in the Marun Al Ras area yesterday afternoon. According to preliminary
reports, the fire originated from the Hezbollah side during an exchange with
the IDF. He was evacuated by the UN to the Israeli side, from where he was
taken by an IDF ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Haifa. He was operated
on, and his condition is now reported as stable.

And reports of Hezbollah firing from UN positions

Hezbollah firing was also reported from the immediate
vicinity of the UN positions in Naqoura and Maroun Al Ras areas at the time
of the incidents.

Yesterday, UNIFIL was able to provide a humanitarian escort to 283 villagers from that area to Tyre. During this mission the team came under fire, which endangered the lives of local citizens and UNIFIL troops. Initially, Hezbollah fired rockets from the vicinity of hte village and susequently the IDF fired into village on two occasions.

UN position hit by Hezbollah:

Another UN position of the Ghanaian battalion in the area of Marwahin in the
western sector was also directly hit by one mortar round from the Hezbollah
side last night.

And Hezbollah firing from the area of UN positions:

It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the vicinity of four UN positions at Alma ash Shab, Tibnin, Brashit, and At Tiri.

7. Remind me why we sent them in unarmed?
Didn't Rwanda teach us anything? If we're going to send these guys in, they need appropriate weaponry AND rules of engagement that allow them to effectively defend themselves. Otherwise we're just setting up very brave and very soon-to-be-dead human shields.

6. You don't "aim" those MLRS's so much as "point" them
I mean, really, they're like bottle rockets you would play with as a kid only packing a few hundred pounds of high explosives. You point them in the direction of the city you want to hit, set the eleveation and (I assume) thrust for the appropriate range, and they hit Cthullhu-knows-where.

the right spot, don't care, or both.

They don't have precision missle systems like Isreal. That is why this whole "it was accidental" nonesense is just that. They can pinpoint buildings and make three claims. 1: legit target 2: legit target with (dreaded parenthetical) "collatoral damage" 3: It was an accident

All hide the fact that innocent people die. No matter there intent the result is the same.

The accidental argument only works for Hizbollah IMO. But even with that the result is the same.
