Poll question: Would You Have Believed That Nearly 5 Years After 9-11...
Had you been asked in October of 2001 if you thought it possible that nearly five years after 9-11 Osama bin Laden would not only still be at large, but also the head of an organization still killing Americans, would you have said yes?

They'd have him by the end of the year.

2. I voted NO, but I have to clarify my vote.
If I'd known for certain back then what a bunch of lying, bumbling, stumbling, imbeciles we had running the country, I would have voted YES.

Worse leadership would be hard to find.

3. I was naive back then and had no idea the US government ever
committed horrible acts.

9. I lost my "virginity" because of 9/11
My wife and I are both veterans and believed that our government was comprised of good people seeking to better the world.

Yeah, sounds funny now, doesn't it?

After I started researching 9/11 I became despondent. It was hard to believe that this was MY government. I can't believe that anyone can watch WTC 7 fall without wondering WTF?

4. Yeah, but then the Pakastani ISI and Musharraf intervened.
Who'd have thought Cheney would cave-in to a tin-cup dictator just so he could have a base of operations on Iran's eastern border?

7. or another version, one I think that's closer to the real truth
Who thought Osama was still on the government's payroll, was Bush's good buddy, and that Cheney would run the 9/11 terror operation in cahoots with the FBI, CIA, and Rudy Giuliani?

6. Not in a million years...
I remember talking to a friend of mine at work on 9/11. He said, "I can't believe a Muslim would do this with a Republican in the White House." Of course, he meant that a Republican war-monger would move heaven and earth, taking thousands of innocent lives if necessary, to get revenge.

Now, his words have a different meaning for me given how much I've learned about the world I live in. I view his statement with a sense of irony, because I too feel the same way...but only because I think our govt carried out the attacks to justify subsequent actions. And the organization bin Laden heads is merely a branch of the CIA designed to carry out false flag operations to whip up US support for wars of aggression.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself in 2001, I don't think I'd recognize myself.

8. Well, if you could have told me Shit-for-Brains would get a second term.

(Notice that I didn't say "get re-elected")

Then I would have said yes it's possible.

10. Yes. I would've guaranteed it.
There was no doubt in my feeble, aged, dessicated brain. Osama is the gift that keeps on giving. If I learned one thing working in government (and government contractors) it is that a "problem" is the goose that lays golden eggs. No sucker-of-the-taxpayer-teat ever kills that goose voluntarily, The Bushoilinis are, if nothing else, insatiable pillagers of the public treasury.

11. Honestly
That morning it happened I knew this administration either knew it was going to happen or had a hand in it. I took a lot of shit from people when I said they will never get Bin Laden. So yes, I was fairly sure that it was going to turn out this way.

No doubt! bush was an idiot then too! I saw that from the get go.
And repukes love them wars, so yes! How could I not?
The first thing my sister and I said, after bush stole the election,
was "Tighten your belt and hang on! War is coming soon!"

We say that everytime a repuke gets in the WH! We haven't been wrong yet!

NEVER VOTE FOR A REPUBLI-CON!!! EVER!!! :grr:

18. You see, I wouldn't have believed it.
To me Bush's failure to avenge the deaths of the 3,000 Americans who died on 9-11 is not just gross incompetence, it is also an incredible act of betrayal.

If we're not talking about this particular 5 year anniversary in September, we're missing one big fat opportunity to call this fucker out.

14. No I didn't think Osama would still be on the
loose. 25 mil for a bounty and no one has fessed up to his whereabouts. Astonishing. I however think that Osama's father made a plea to Bushit to spare him. I believe that he was taken up on that plea. With the ability the US has there is no way that he is truly being pursued. I remember Bushit saying "I'm not worried about Osama anymore. His ability do harm has been removed." Or words to that effect.

But as we all know, The war on drugs has eradicated drug use and sales in America. :sarcasm:
As the war on terror has eradicated that as well. :sarcasm:

15. I figured Osama was just media bait. They wanted a war. They
wanted to steal billions. They did.

I thought there would be more damage to the U.S. by now, though.

17. I'm not the least bit surprised.
I knew the Bush Crime Family was in bed with and buggering the Saudis (and yes, that includes CIA operative Osama) since the BCCI scandal days and certainly since the first Gulf War, so I'm not the least bit surprised by any of this. Everything is going according to plan. 2007 and 2008 are going to be the bloodiest years in human history. Geeorge and his soul twin Osama are the useful idiots in the family and everything is working out very nicely. Have an icy cold Dunkin Donuts™ Coolata® to refresh yourself and stop worring your pretty little head about matters of national security. You are getting sleepy... you are getting veeery sleeeeepyyy...

20. Even the FBI knows that Osama was not responsible for 9/11
The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.”

But I always remember that Osama Bin Goldstein is more valuable to them right now alive, as a boogeyman. He still may be preparing a Bush-Bin Laden Campaign video in time for 2008.
