I am requesting technical advice. |
|
Thank you guys for the responses for my kids battallion newsletter.
Now I am tring to figure out how to send it.
I did save the thread as a favorite on my desktop. I think that is the right thing to do.
So do I email it to the newsletter as an attachment? Can I do that? Or should I copy-paiste the responses - or what??
What do I do?
Joe

1. I would consider pasting it, Joe |

It may get rejected as an attachment. A lot of .gov sites won't accept any attachments whatsoever.

2. If you have the thread(s) saved, |

You might find it easier to copy and paste into a Word document first, so you can line up the text pretty much the way you want it (spacing and other weird stuff that can happen) and get rid of any extra stuff you don't want like post numbers and such. Then once you get it all cleaned up, it'll be easier to copy THAT and paste it into an email, I think.
Does that make any sense?

but thank you for doing this. I know one of those young soldiers is your son. I hope they all stay well and get through this to come home and be the wonderful citizens they were raised to be.
I would cut and paste it so that they see what it is and send it as an attachment cleaned up with Word or some other similar program.

that is why I thought they might really appreciate the attachment all cleaned up but needed to see right away what it was in the body of the email. I was just adding on to your caveat!
