Howard Fineman just said. |

"I have never seen George Bush look like this in the eight years I covered him. He looked like a defeated man." He is on Hardball now. And added that he looked like he was not in charge.

4. I heard that! Even the other guest and Tweety agreed with him! |
|
At the very end of the discussion, Howard & Tweety said "Don't just listen to what these leaders say, but watch what they do, their body language, their movements."
That was quite a segment!

16. I Think Destiny Is In Charge |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-26-06 08:14 PM by loindelrio
Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events.
- Sir Winston Churchill
On Edit:
I mean, lets face it. We are sending troops in Baghdad. I think there is little chance that this can end any way but badly.

10. I want us to have a real president in charge |
|
enough of these, "I really rather ride my bike" guys. The White House is not a personal gym, let's get someone in there like FDR who can handle what's been messed up by the Decider. You say that's impossible, I say, It is possible, everybody, tell what you know, about 9-11, about Iraq, about wiretapping, about the dirty elections, about secret prisons, the non hunt for Osama, leak everything, buy those free phones with no contract, call overseas journalists but get the truth out.

12. Tweety just closed the show by pushing D-Eliot Engel (?) |
|
over the point that Presidents always have worn two hats....support Israel, but also being a broker. He said Bush has only worn one hat.
I never watch Tweety, but I had to do a silent "hurrah"--the whole concept of being an "honest broker" has been tossed and nobody seems to care.

13. Fineman's Quote Makes Me Think That The Current Middle East |
|
crisis was not planned by the Bushies.
I thought maybe this was all in the works for the November Elections.
Maybe so.
Or maybe, as Fineman alludes to, this whole thing is spiraling out of control and these retards don't know what to do.
I think Bush has a bigger problem than Iraq, now.
Just my two cents.

I noticed exactly the same thing, as I have posted elsewhere. I've never seen him look like that. Devasted and beaten is the only words I can think of to describe it.
