Katherine Harris is FINISHED - Obama landslide imminent, 60-22%

This is the latest poll in the Florida senate race between Harris and Bill Nelson and the biggest lead for Nelson to date:

Nelson: 60%
Harris: 22%

Conservatives who lurk around this forum or watch us with their little hungry eyes will no doubt try to explain this away as "RAWRR LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS", but they'll have a tough time explaining how Strategic Vision, a Republican polling firm, came up with these results. Nelson is crushing Harris nearly 3-1 in the polls. This witch is DONE. Gotta love that Karma.

The Obama remark in the thread title is a reference to the Illinois senate race back in 2004 when Barack Obama massacred Alan Keyes with 70% of the vote to Keyes' 27%.

also, Harris does have two challengers in the republican primary. Fortunately, neither of them could beat Bill, even if they did somehow manage to beat her.

But I live in Florida and while all that was going on, jebbie showered her with more attention than the paparazzi gives Angelina. You didn't see a picture without them together, side by side, thick as thieves. And in a third of the pics, addle-brained brother george was there too, with his idiot grin in her face.

You gotta know that she was absolutely certain that she had earned their loyalty and backing for anything she wanted in the future: after all, she lied for them and cheated for them, and broke the law for them, risking fines or even incarceration. Of course, that wasn't going to happen with Diebold giving the pubs a solid majority and a handpicked SCOTUS looking the other way. But in a better world, it might have, and it did carry a certain amount of risk for her.

But now she is poison mushrooms. Jeb hides in the broom closet when she comes to his office, and georgy falls back on his usual, "Nope, don't know the woman. Never met her" routine.

Ms. Harris has fought off everybody that tried to get her out of this race, from * on down. How! I think she has all the secrets and a copy in a very save vault that will be opened if she dies before she's 90.

How they will get her to win with a 20% polling, I don't know. Maybe they will appoint Nelson to the Supreme Court or something.

But don't count her out.
