Theory on the Middle East: This is totally on Nader/Bush. . I'll explain. |
|
Let's start for the sake of argument that the Chimp allowed 9/11 to happen. That instantly turns Arabs into monsters in the collective American psyche because Arabs are "all the same." That lie is propagated by the media sycophants on TV, newspapers and the Radio.
Now, we spend two years blowing up an arab country, turning the entire region into a powder keg. All it takes is a spark. In an attempt to gain leverage, Arab terrorists with a beef against Israel, take two Israeli soldiers hostage. There's the spark.
In a warped way, the Bush Administration now sees a way for their constant war to continue, using Israeli pawns to fight it. The US still sabre rattles with Syria and Iran, thus allowing Israeli pawns to take the heat for the Bush Admin. actions, thus destabilizing the region even more.
As such, Iran responds by verbally attacks Israel, Syria remains on the radar and the US feeds the IDF "intelligence" that Hezbollah and Hamas are in Syria, controlling Lebanon. Syria is attacked. . .now Israel can send troops on a land bridge from Israel to Iran.
A US ally controls Syria, Lebanon. . .the US controls Afganistan and Iraq. . .now, it's time to pillage Iran from both sides.
And just think. . .if Bush didn't let 9/11 happen. . .none of this could be possible. And if Nader's ego and hatred of Al Gore didn't consume him, maybe the 2000 election wouldn't have been close enough to steal and maybe, just maybe, we'd be better off now than we are!
There's my theory. Flame away.

1. Israel invading Iran through Syria is a bit farfetched. |
|
Considering that the IDF failed to subdue Hezbollah during its long occupation of southern Lebanon, imagining that they have the manpower to occupy all of Lebanon and Syria and guard the supply train from Israel to the Iranian border and have enough left over to actually put a force into Iran is a bit ridiculous.
A more likely scenario is that this bullshit war is the likud wing of the PNAC crowd's effort to get PNACs big bomb campaign against Iran started by coaxing Syria and/or Iran into an overreaction to the terror campaign unleashed against the people of Lebanon. My guess is that it will work and they will get their war on before the november elections.

3. No, Israel will have a land bridge to get troops to Iran through Syria |
|
and Iraq to help with the pillage due to this trumped up, Bush started war.
This is directly related to 9/11 and Bush allowing it to happen. It's play out the way the Bush crowd wants it to play out and Americans, being sheep, and the Israelis, being paranoid (though rightly so since they have enemies on all sides) are being used.
This is all allowed because 9/11 made arabs into monsters in the eyes of the sheep American boob!

You have to guard your supply train or your 'land bridge' is a graveyard. The IDF does not have anywhere near the manpower to occupy Lebanon and Syria.

2. No flames but, Nader was a statistical non issue in historical context. |
|
Maybe if Al Gore's handlers did a better job, the race wouldn't have been close enough to steal.

But the Nader bashing is basically a requirement.

7. The Main Stream Media waged a 2 year war against Gore. |
|
The list of their smears is very, very long. Earth tones, Love Story, Love Canal, Buddhist Temple, invented the Internet, not comfortable in his own skin, sighing, The Kiss and on and on.
However Gore was or was not handled, the media attack was relentless.... and went on for TWO years.

And will never forget it. And for what? Why did they decide to take down Al Gore? Pure unbridled corporate greed?

Is THAT your "take" on what happened in 2000? "Flame away"?? After close to 2700 flame-free postings here on DU, I might just do that. I find that to be spoiled-brat pathetic. Had Gore run as a DEMOCRAT, as he now seems to be doing, he might have WON, and by a margin too large to steal. Had it been stolen anyhow, had he NOT rolled over without even a whimper? What then? Aren't we ALL envious of what is now taking place in Mexico?? And don't forget, that it was the Green Party who first raised a stink in Ohio in 2004. WHERE was Kerry then, or for that matter the fucking DLC?
