I Do Not Care Who Is Gay.
None of my damn business. I find it pretty distasteful that is is somehow considered news when this or that celeb comes out or is outted without their permission.

Just saying.

1. Agree. And why should it be any of our fucking business?
Just asking.

2. People with shallow, pointless little lives need something to distract
them from their shallow, pointless little lives.

You didn't know that? I'm surprised.

6. Doing Your Thing Is Great. I Just Do Not See It As News.
I also do not find celeb divorces, etc. to be news.

If he wants to become an advocate or activist on the issues, that would be news. Him simply coming out is far from it. Who cares?

4. In a way I agree with you...
in a way I think that the more that people finally come out and admit they are gay...the more people will realize that 10% of the population is actually gay and there is nothing wrong with them....and Gay's are taxpaying Americans and deserve legal rights as all Americans do.

(Personally the Gay Marriage thing is the wrong battle) I just want my partner to be able to make financial and medical decisions for me it it is ever needed. I shouldn't have to jump through legal hoops and have to get a lawyer to pay thousands of dollars when all I need is a license from the state to say we are recognized as a couple. I don't care about the Churches approval...I didn't ask for it and I don't want it....

7. I think heterosexual celebrities should start coming out...
They've gone long enough as the silent majority, living without fear that, at any moment, they might be discovered for what no one cares they are.

8. Oprah Tried Just That This Week,
Ran an I'm not gay article on herself in her magazine. They also reported on that as if it was newsworthy. :freak:

12. Well, when people think of Oprah, the first thing they do is wonder...
..."Is she gay?" This is in part due to letterology. You see, Oprah spelled backwards is "Harpo," the name of her company. When viewed together, as OprahharpO, it is reminiscent of widely-spaced breasts, a characteristic thought by non-gays and Rev. Phelps to be attractive to gays. Thus, she received orders from the Gay Conspiracy to publically deny all non-existant allegations that she was gay in order to protect the innocent, and God, and the Bible.

9. Lance's coming out. Inane celeb news or valuable social comment?
Edited on Wed Jul-26-06 09:57 PM by Democrats_win
To gays struggling with their families and religion, his coming out helps them to realize that they aren't alone. Lance is one of the most wholesome celebrities around and his coming out is huge. This celebrity news means something.

11. The only time when it should become the public's business is...
when said person has publicly denounced GBLTs and is then shown to be hypocritical.
