NJ Senators need phone calls ASAP
Just got off the phone and they haven't received many about Alito

Lautenberg, Frank- (D - NJ) Class II
324 HART SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-3224

Menendez, Robert- (D - NJ) Class I
502 HART SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-4744

Sen. Menedez's voicemail still has Corzine's outgoing mssg and is full but keep trying.

The nice gentleman from Lautenberg's # said phones were quiet today. Please call if you can. It only takes a few minutes and all one has to say is to vote NO on Alito and to fillibuster if necessary.

1. How are they predicted to vote? Does it do any good for out of staters
to call?

2. There's no word on that which is why they may need a few phone calls
I called a few from other states just to be heard. I think it can only help.

3. Just called both of them
Very nice folks at both offices. Also gave my congratulations to Sen. Menendez. The woman who took my message also took my address.

If you're an NJ resident, please, let's ring our senators' phones off the hook on this one. I'd hate for either Sen. Lautenberg or Sen. Menendez to think that, just because Alito comes from NJ, we support him being on the SCOTUS.
