If anyone has pics from today's protest I'd love to see them.

President Bush visits Charleston for fundraiser (4:19 pm)
Dave Gustafson
Staff writer

President George W. Bush arrived in Charleston at 4 p.m. Friday for a private fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.
Air Force One touched down at Yeager Airport at 4 p.m. Bush and Capito got off the plane and were greeted by Gen. Allen Tackett, head of the state’s National Guard.

(snipping)

People lined the motorcade route along Greenbrier Street and Kanawha Boulevard. Protestors outnumbered supporters until the motorcade got into South Hills. (South Hills is where the fundraiser was held for that snake Shelley Moore Capito.)

Some of the signs read “How Many More Bodies?”, “Warmonger” and “Thank God For Term Limits.” Some Bush-Cheney campaign signs were also visible.

MORE

We have a Democratic challenger for the seat of Capito but her war chest is so full from contributions by war profiteers and Bush pals (1.1 million last I heard) to some 25-30,000 for Callaghan that we don't have a prayer unless we can raise some more money! Please visit www.mikewv.com if you can spare some change (PayPal, too!) for Mike Callaghan's campaign. Thanks!

Oh, and for those of you unfamiliar with Shelley Moore Capito, here's a profile in corruption and evil: http://www.dccc.org/gopauctionhouse/members/Shelley%20MooreCapitoWV-2.html
