Of course, if you give them a second, they'll add that it's not a big deal anyway, since Bush is "surrounded by intelligent people", so they know he's an idiot.

And Bush isn't surrounded by intelligent people, either. Everyone from Cheney to Doug Feith has repeatedly demonstrated their intense stupidity and incompetence. This is very likely the stupidest government we've ever had.
