14. so there is hope after all. I've been feeling so depressed. but perhaps
there is hope that American - Middle East policy can be redirected toward moderation and common sense and fair play. Perhaps it is possible that the American people can lead the American government away from walking blindly into the abyss--dragging the Middle East and the whole world into the abyss and plunging all of humanity into darkness, just perhaps.
