Please check out the first few minutes of my movie and tell me what
you think of it.

The movie is titled CAN MR. SMITH GET TO WASHINGTON ANYMORE?

Here is the clip:

http://www.mrsmithmovie.com/PreviewClip.cfm

We start our theatrical run in St. Louis tonight. So far we have scheduled a week in each of D.C., Boston, and LA for later this year and are working on getting it to cities all over the country.

Skinner saw the film at it world premiere in D.C. and wrote this review: http://journals.democraticunderground.com/Skinner/111

If you guys have any independent art theaters in your area that may be a good place for us to show the film, please post them for me.

I also posted this in the Lounge b/c I wanted as many people to see it as possible.

3. You will almost certainly have to wait for the DVD.
Do they have art theaters in Northern Alabama?

5. Yes. The Flying Monkey Art Center is one.
I know some of the folks involved with the Center, I'll ask them about this film.

2. My friend,
that clip made me smile. As frustrating as it is and as difficult as it is for someone without name recognition and big money backing it is so good to know that there are people willing to put in the time and effort to try to change things anyway. It gives me hope that someday we can get back to real people governance.

I hope your contact with Liberty Hall was fruitful, I would happily drive the 30 minutes to see and support it.

I wish you all the luck in the world with this. Let us know how it goes.

4. Without promisinng anything yet, I suspect that you will get
to see this one soon.

Thanks for your kind comments. We think the movie is very hopeful, unlike many political documentaries out these days.
