Stop Right Wing Sneak Attack on Education, Social Services, Health Care And Social Security

They're at it again! On Thursday, the House of Representatives will take up two bills that would establish commissions that would lay the ground work for eliminating federal programs that fund education, social services and law enforcement and would smooth the way for cutting Medicare, Medicaid and privatizing Social Security. The Government Efficiency Act (HR 5766) and the Federal Agency Performance Review and Sunset Act (HR 3282) would employ extraordinary measures that would exclude the public from the decision making process and even set up federal programs and agencies for automatic abolishment every 12 years.

Here is a toll free # to call:

URGENT!
AFSCME LEADERS AND ACTIVISTS:
Please call your representatives at 1-888-460-0813. Tell them you are strongly opposed to H.R. 1956 and to H.R. 5766 and H.R. 3282. Tell them you oppose these bills because they unfairly harm the government’s ability to deliver vital public services to millions of Americans.

Please share this with your political friends too!
