The Red Cross worker was injured when Israeli rockets hit the ambulance he was travelling in to rescue other victims from the bombardment outside Tyre.
"I was bombed yesterday and am wounded on my chin, leg and blood came out of my ear.
"But I have come to work because I have to help my country and my people."
Rasha Saleh
She is a hospital nurse from Nabatiya who is stranded at home in Tyre. She is doing volunteer Red Cross work, going round to people's houses and refugee centres and providing emergency aid.
"There are tragedies everywhere, so I must do everything I can to give medical and moral help."
Mariam Muhammad
The mother-of-10 is sheltering in Jafaria School after fleeing her home village of Jabal al-Batan.
"We escaped by car under heavy Israeli bombing, in front of us and behind us. We have only one set of clothes each, which we wash every night and just have dry bread and tomatoes to eat."
Moussa Muhanna
He has taken refuge in Jafaria School after fleeing Jabal al-Batan.
"We managed to escape some days ago, but my cousin and her daughter were killed yesterday by Israeli bombing which destroyed their house. They were unable to escape and the husband was unable to reach the village to rescue them."

She lives in a classroom at Jafaria School with 22 people from four families, all from a neighbourhood in the village of Kafra.
"We are too frightened of the bombing to go on the top floor where some of us have rooms. We all escaped together and we are sticking together now, in case we have to escape again."

Do these people look like terrorists to you? According to Israel, if these people are still in the South, they are now considered Hezbollah.
